Home & small-office IT support
Straightforward help with the everyday technology problems that cost a working day — reported to someone local, routed to the right resource.
Practical help with everyday technology
Most technology problems in a home or small office are not complicated — they are just time-consuming, and they arrive at the worst moment. A printer that will not connect, a laptop that has slowed to a crawl, a new device that refuses to join the network.
This service exists for exactly those problems. Your Regional Distributor takes the details of what is happening, and the matter is routed to the right resource rather than left with you to work out.
- New device setup and configuration
- Printers, scanners and peripherals that will not connect
- Wi-Fi coverage, network settings and connection problems
- Email, account and everyday software configuration
- Backups, file storage and data transfer between devices
- Performance problems and routine maintenance
Report it once, to someone local
The intake is deliberately simple. You describe the problem to your Regional Distributor; the routing happens behind the scenes.
Describe the problem
Contact your Regional Distributor or central support with what is happening and which device is affected. No diagnostic vocabulary required.
The request is logged and routed
Basic facts are recorded and the request is directed to the appropriate resource — routine matters handled locally, specialist matters escalated centrally.
The work is carried out
Straightforward matters are typically resolved remotely. Where a request falls outside the scope of this service, we will say so plainly rather than leave it open.
Confirmation
You are told what was done and what, if anything, needs watching. Related orders and support requests stay on one account.
What this service is not. This is practical, everyday technology support for homes and small offices. It is not an enterprise cybersecurity service, incident response capability, or managed security operation, and it should not be relied on as one.
Regional Distributors provide first-line contact and intake. They are not required to hold specialist IT or security credentials, and matters requiring specialist attention are escalated to centralized resources.
